Why still teach keyboarding?

Assumption: Voice recognition will render keyboarding obsolete in 10 years. (2002)

(I gave up after 15 minutes trying to tell my car's voice recognition system to get me a route to the WBEA/OBEA 2014 conference, 12 years after the prediction was made.)
